The AMP Awards for Music & Sound

The AMP Awards, launched in 2013, is the only US-based, not-for-profit competition in advertising and branding dedicated to honoring achievements in music and sound in all media. Winners will be announced during the 2023 AMP Awards presentation, scheduled for May of 2023.

Judged by members of the Association of Music Producers as well as professionals from the music, marketing and publishing fields, The AMP Awards underscore the power of music and sound in aligning brand identity with consumer experience.

A portion of the proceeds from The AMP Awards is donated to the Musician's Foundation, a non-profit group that addresses the chronic financial insecurity so prevalent in the music industry.

About AMP: The Association of Music Producers was founded in 1998 for the purpose of educating its members, as well as members of the production, advertising and media communities, on all facets of the music business, from creation and acquisition to final use. AMP is dedicated to raising awareness of and appreciation for the value of music and sound to all broadcast content in all media.

It's estimated that over 80 percent of the soundtracks for ads for America's leading consumer brands are created, sourced and recorded by AMP member companies and individuals. In affiliation with the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP), AMP (www.ampnow.com) has established its role as the leading voice of music and sound in the multi-billion commercial production industry. The association's slogan sums up the important role its members play in creating the drumbeat of marketing across all media channels: "It's amazing what you can see with your ears."
