ELIGIBILITY, FEES & RULES
Work must have first aired/been made public between:
February 12, 2024 and February 9, 2025
Final Extended Deadline for entries is Friday, March 21 at 11.59 pm PT.
- Airing is defined as a commercial release, commissioned by a client, for TV, cinema, the Internet, mobile, or any other media able to deliver motion picture imagery.
- Entries have no running time limit. Cut down versions of lengthy entries are encouraged; however they must be cut downs of the 'as aired' or client approved versions (i.e., no directors' or agency cuts). Please indicate the running time of the full length piece in the accompanying notes on the entry form so that judges understand that what they're scoring is a cut down version. (See the Categories page for more details and category descriptions.)
- Case study videos submitted for any entry cannot include any mention or visual reference identifying the entering company, such as logos or branding. Any such case study videos will be returned to the entrant for re-editing, or will not be included for judging.
- Directors' cuts and unaired versions of existing commercials are not eligible. Previously honored or shortlisted entries are ineligible.
- Entries may be submitted by music production companies, audio post houses, composers, record labels, sync companies, artists and artists'managers, music publishers, design and branding studios, motion picture studios, streaming or linear television producers or networks, advertising agencies, public relations firms, advertisers or any individual or company creating or providing music and/or sound for commercials, branded content, promos or trailers, brand-sponsored experiential/live events or digital experiences such as VR, AR, games, etc.
- Only commercials aired in the United States, or produced from the US office of a production company, agency or music company and intended for an international audience, are eligible.
Entry Fees:
- A single entry:
$225
- The same entry in additional categories:
$175 each additional category
- Every two separate entries entitles the entrant to an additional separate entry at no charge.
AMP members in good standing are entitled to a 20% discount to entry fees.
Entries submitted by AMP members before the Early Bird entry deadline of January 31, 2025 will earn a 30 percent discount on all entry fees.
Entry fees may be paid online by credit card, and a 3.25% processing fee will be assessed. For international entrants wishing to pay via wire transfer, please email us at please email us at info@associationofmusicproducers.org for banking information.
If paying via check, checks should be made payable to the Association of Music Producers and sent along with a copy of your invoice (which can be printed out when you finalize your entries) to:

Entries will not be accepted after the deadlines without permission from AMP.

Entry fees are non-refundable. Fees will be refunded, however, should the AMP Awards organizers and Show Chairperson withdraw a category from competition for any reason. AMP is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete entries. Only entries that have been finalized, with payment submitted, will be judged.
Judging Procedures
Initial judging will be done by a jury composed of members of the Association of Music Producers (AMP). Jury members are prohibited from voting on their own work. The top-scoring entries in each category will constitute the AMP Awards Finalist shortlist.
An independent Curatorial Committee will then review the shortlist results and make a final decision regarding the winning entry or entries in each Category. The Committee will be led by the competition's Show Chair, and may include past Show Chairs, representatives of record labels, ad agencies, music publishers and other industry professionals. (Curatorial Committee members are prohibited from voting on their own work.)
Winners will be announced during the 2024 AMP Awards presentation, scheduled for May 21, 2025.
