ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS & ENTRY FEES
Work must have first aired/been made public between:
February 27, 2023 and February 12, 2024
Final Extended Deadline for entries is Monday, March 18 at 11.59 pm PT.
Airing is defined as commercial release, commissioned by a client, for television, theater, the Internet, mobile phone, or any other medium able to deliver motion picture imagery.
Commercials 'as aired' have no running time limit. Cut-down versions of lengthy spots are acceptable, however they should be cut-downs of the 'as aired' versions (i.e., no directors' or agency cuts). Please indicate the running time of the full length piece so that judges understand that what they're scoring is a cut-down version. (See the Categories page for more details and category descriptions.)
Directors' cuts and unaired versions of existing aired commercials are not eligible. Previously honored or shortlisted entries are ineligible.
Entries may be submitted by music production companies, audio post houses, composers, record labels, music publishers, agencies, advertisers or any individual or firm creating or providing music and/or sound for commercials, branded content, promos or trailers, brand-sponsored experiential/live events or digital experiences such as VR, AR, games, web3, etc.
Only commercials aired in the United States, or produced from the U.S. office of a production company or music company for an international audience, are eligible.

Judging Procedures
Initial online judging will be done by members of the Association of Music Producers (AMP). Jury members are prohibited from voting on their own work. The top-scoring entries in each category will constitute the AMP Awards Finalist shortlist.
An independent Curatorial Committee will then review the shortlist results and make a final decision regarding the winning entry or entries in each Category. The Committee will be led by our current Show Chair and may include past Show Chairs, representatives of record labels, ad agencies, music publishers and other industry professionals. (Curatorial Committee members are prohibited from voting on their own work.)
Winners will be announced during the 2024 AMP Awards presentation, scheduled for May of 2024.
